Twice Annual Seasonal Media Shows Continue to Thrive at Denver’s Outdoor Industry Hub

March 19, 2024 – LAKEWOOD, CO /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Outdoor Market Alliance (OMA), Denver’s outdoor industry hub, has wrapped its fourth Denver Media Show at its Lakewood headquarters. Building upon the success of previous media shows, 58 brands, 58 media attendees, and 19 PR agencies gathered to share new stories and preview gear from the outdoor industry’s most notable companies.

A collective of 25 independent sales and marketing agencies representing over 175 different brands in the outdoor and active lifestyle markets, the OMA has rapidly become a business nexus in the Rockies, hosting market weeks for retail buyers, media shows for editors and journalists, and a year-round destination for its retail partners.

“This was our first time bringing a brand to the Denver Media Show, and we found it super productive for our UK-based client, Montane,” said Chris Denny of Denny, ink., a PR agency located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. “Not only was it great to connect with familiar faces in person, but it was fun to preview new product and share brand stories with both Front Range and national media. We found this event to be efficient and cost-approachable and we’re already looking at how we can participate in the next event this summer.”

The Denver Media Show continues to grow season to season, and this summer will bring another opportunity for media to visit with brands efficiently, and to connect with industry peers in a lively atmosphere. The summer media show is slated for July 17-18, 2024.

“Our vision in founding the OMA was for this space to be a collaborative center for the outdoor industry in the Rockies,” said Steve Copeland, president of the OMA. “To see the continued success of this media show has been the perfect evolution of other businesses collaborating within our space to create even more value for our industry as a whole. And in typical outdoor industry fashion, we’re getting work done in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, welcoming more and more of our community with each successive media show.”
