October 13, 2022

The UK’s Motorhome and Caravan Show, which takes place from 18th – 23rd October 2022, has already sold over 75,000 tickets, and tickets for the Saturday of the show already sold out.

As the UK’s biggest showcase of Leisure Vehicles, over 350 exhibitors will display their latest creations across all six days, over 11 halls of the NEC in Birmingham.

Once again, there is a dedicated Campervan Hall (Hall 11), while in Hall 20 the Erwin Hymer Group is showing its new Hymer Venture S, first seen at the Caravan Salon Dusseldorf in August.

Other new motorhomes at the show will include the Coachman Travel Master and the Adria Supersonic, while Swift is another manufacturer to start using the Ford Transit as a base vehicle with its new Voyager range. Bailey of Bristol is announcing two new additions to its Ford Transit-based Adamo motorhome range.

New caravans at the show include the Knaus Azur with its innovative UV‐resistant and “self‐healing” external surface that easily absorbs pressure marks and dents. Brand new Campod Caravans will be showing a new range of funky and lightweight small caravans. Lion Caravans (Go-Pods Micro Tourer Caravans) is launching a CUB micro teardrop camper, and a SABRE demountable pickup camper.

It’s not only vehicles on display at the Show, visitors will find halls filled with trailer tents, awnings, BBQs, e-bikes, pet products, tow-bars, security systems, travel inspiration, expert advice and a choice of UK and European destinations, plus much more.

Impartial advice from experts for existing owners and those interested in buying into the touring lifestyle will be on offer along with inspiring talks from campervan, caravan and motorhome vloggers and outdoor enthusiasts about where they love to travel to and explore.

Across the entire Show there will be launches, first looks, and redesigns from industry leaders including: Adria, Auto-Sleepers, Auto-Trail, Bailey of Bristol, Bürstner, Campods, Carthago, Chausson, Coachman, Compass, Dethleffs, Elddis, Eriba, Frankia , Globecar, Hobby, Hymer, Knaus, Laika, Lion Caravans, Malibu, Marquis, Morelo, Niesmann+Bischoff, Pilote, Rapido, Rimor, Roller Team, RP Motorhomes, Swift, Vantage Motorhomes and Weinsberg.

Karen Dodd, Marketing Director of NCC Events said:

“We’re all really excited for the return of the industry’s national showcase – the Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC. We’re seeing some incredible innovations come through from the leading manufacturers across the UK and Europe. We’re delighted that many of them are using the show to launch new layouts and vehicles to the UK market.

“The demand for tickets reflects the growing consumer interest in campervans, caravans and motorhomes. We are looking forward to welcoming these first timers as well as familiar faces to the Show, providing them with all the products, help, advice and information they need on all aspects of leisure vehicle ownership as well as a heavy dose of travel inspiration to kick start their 2023 adventures.”

Free caravan towing courses, motorhome manoeuvring lessons and campervan test drives provided by member organisations, the Camping & Caravanning Club and the Caravan & Motorhome Club, will be available for visitors (over 25 with a driver’s licence) to get a feel for the different types of leisure vehicle available, brush-up on their driving/towing skills and build confidence behind the wheel.

Tickets are only available in advance (not ‘on the door’) and are limited. They’re available at www.mcshow.co.uk/ priced from £12.
