Peak Performance Introduces the Monolight Circular Jacket

February 3, 2026

The innovative puffer jacket is designed to be worn to the fullest, repaired when needed, and recycled at the end of use.

February 3, 2026 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Born four decades ago in the heart of the Swedish Mountains, Peak Performance is the authority on outdoor adventure clothing, combining technical excellence with disruptive design.

For Spring/Summer ‘26, the Swedish brand introduces its latest innovation: the Monolight Jacket, a fully recyclable lightweight jacket designed for alpine purists and urban adventurers alike.

Engineered for circularity via a super durable recycled ripstop monomaterial construction, the Monolight Jacket is built to be used to the fullest, repaired with ease, and then recycled. The jacket has been created via a process that uses 90% of fabric during pattern cutting – a huge improvement on the industry standard. And the configuration of the Primaloft ThermX insulation not only allows for maximum heat retention without bulk, making the Monolight Jacket ideal for all-season use, but also facilitates easy repair, courtesy of the colour-matched fabric patches supplied with each jacket.

The super lightweight 20D recycled ripstop fabric (47gsm) blocks wind and repels light rain and snow, and the jacket’s Primaloft ThermX insulation is highly compressible, allowing the jacket to pack down into its own zip-closure pouch. Cut in a neat regular fit, with a fixed hood with chin guard that prevents friction at the collar, the Monolight jacket is designed for maximum freedom of movement alongside elite technical performance, either layered over a base or mid layer, or under a shell.
