Rossignol Group appoints Director of Softgood Sales for U.S. market

Increased focus on softgoods category growth emphasizes the brand’s global aspirations within the North American market.

PARK CITY, Utah (Oct. 25, 2022) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – The Rossignol Group, manufacturer of premium mountain sports equipment and apparel, is pleased to announce the appointment of Meredith Riley as Director of Sales for the softgoods business unit, U.S. market. Riley will be responsible for developing and executing the strategies to accelerate category growth across apparel, footwear, and accessories within both existing and new wholesale distribution in concert with the Group’s global commercial strategies.

Globally, our softgoods category is on an important growth trajectory with a focus on U.S. market development. Working closely with Cruickshank, Riley will manage and support the Group’s agency-based sales force in its efforts to expand upon the Rossignol brand’s multi-season apparel and footwear business, as well as that of Dale of Norway, known for its iconic Norwegian knitwear. Homing in on the U.S. market, Riley will provide strategy, tools, insights and support around efforts to reach new audiences and wholesale partners with a focus on consumer experience.

Riley brings close to a decades-worth of outdoor industry experience to her new role, with an extensive background in retail, business administration, and sales and brand management across a number mountain and outdoor manufacturers. That experience will be key to growing Rossignol’s softgoods business in the U.S., as the four-season brand expands its collections across snowsports, running, hiking and mountain-biking apparel.
