Sales and retail veteran John Segal to bring a wealth of regional experience in the California, Nevada territory

Park City, UT – July 8, 2021 – Rossignol Group is pleased to welcome John Segal to lead sales for the Dynastar and Lange brands in California and Nevada sales territory, effective immediately.

Segal will be tasked with supporting current retail partners in the territory while simultaneously driving sales and category growth for both Dynastar and Lange brands. His efforts will be bolstered by a renewed brand awareness for Dynastar and Lange, including exciting new product launches such as Lange’s first dedicated touring boot, the XT3 Tour, and Dynastar’s award-winning new M-Line collection of freeride skis.

“John joins us at an exciting time. With a revitalized brand and product offer from Dynastar and the most complete collection of high performance ski boots Lange has ever introduced, our brands are only just beginning on the path to reclaiming mindshare amongst North American skiers,” said Dennis Gaspari, VP Sales and Marketing, Dynastar, Lange, LOOK. “Considering his proven track record, industry experience, and established relationships, John is the perfect addition to help us accelerate brand awareness throughout the territory and showcase the unique performance that sets Dynastar and Lange brands apart.”

A graduate of the University of Vermont with 20 years of professional experience in ski and outdoor, Segal brings a lifelong passion for skiing, hands-on retail experience, and a wealth of regional and industry knowledge to his new role with Dynastar and Lange brands. Having worked as both a professional boot-fitter and retail store manager, Segal transitioned to the commercial sales side of the industry in 2008 with brands such as Dalbello and Obermeyer. Most recently Segal represented a handful of winter sports brands including Kastle Skis and Scott Sports.

“I received my first introduction to Dynastar, Lange, and LOOK as a marketing intern at the old headquarters in Burlington, Vermont while still in college. To now come full circle and represent these legacy ski brands, each with their own rich histories and reverence within the industry is a unique and exciting opportunity. I am honored to be taking on this role and thrilled to be joining the Dynastar-Lange-LOOK family,” said Segal. “Harnessing the combined energy of a new season, a new brand partnership, and getting back to being in-stores this fall and winter will make for an amazing next chapter.”
