This award recognizes Certified B Corps around the world whose verified B Impact Scores in the five impact areas evaluated in the B Impact Assessment — Community, Customers, Environment, Governance, and Workers — ranked in the top 5% of all B Corps in their corresponding size group. tentree was recognized for their exceptional positive impact in the Community category.

Community winners of the B Corps Best for the World award were acknowledged for exemplary practices and policies directed at community impact. tentree’s tree planting initiative is a major part of the company’s mission and, as its namesake indicates, the brand plants ten trees for every item purchased in an effort to regenerate ecosystems, capture carbon and provide planting jobs in communities around the world. 81 million trees have been planted to date, creating 365,000+ hours of paid work, producing 13,906+ tonnes of food, and restoring 4,918+ hectares of coastline.
