Wondery Outdoors and Sender One Climbing Celebrate International Women’s Day with “Climb With Her” Festival

March 6, 2024

Inclusive Women’s Climbing Event to Feature Skills Clinics, Camaraderie, and Giveaways

March 6, Los Angeles, CA /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Wondery Outdoors, the women’s apparel and gear brand on a mission to be the most diverse and inclusive brand in the outdoor industry, announces its 2nd annual International Women’s Day festival, Climb With Her. Welcoming climbers of all abilities to join the festivities, Climb With Her will feature climbing skills clinics, onsite acupuncture, a free climbing competition for all skill levels, and impressive raffle prizes from event sponsors like The North Face, Cotopaxi, REI, Selk’bag, and more. Each participant will also receive a gift valued at $150 including a pair of the brand’s best-selling Isabel Pants.

Climb With Her will be held at Sender One LAX from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Saturday, March 9th. The event is open to all abilities and raises money for Brown Girls Climb, a national non-profit community partner that strives for representation in the outdoors and climbing for People of the Global Majority. All funds from clinic registrations, raffle ticket purchases, and competition entry donations will go directly to the group along with $1 for every climb completed during the event. The Climb With Her festival will also highlight a women-owned marketplace to further promote and support women and local businesses.

“Wondery Outdoors believes that the outdoors, and climbing, should be for everyone,” said Lydia Mok, co-owner and community director at Wondery. “Through our event series, from our Climb With Pride festival in June to our inclusive and approachable monthly Hike Crew outings, we’re bringing more people into the outdoors while lowering the barrier to entry and creating a comfortable and safe space for as many as possible.”

Wondery hosts three annual events as part of its “Climb With” series to celebrate and raise funds for women-identifying, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ community groups with the mission of making the outdoors more accessible.
