January 10, 2023

Hannibal’s Crossing approved as an official supplier for obstacle builds, development, and events.

Lausanne, Switzerland /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – World Obstacle, Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles (FISO) and Hannibal’s Crossing signed a supplier agreement today to partner on the development and implementation of obstacles, obstacle courses, and event services for obstacle races and Ninja competitions throughout Europe.

This initiative started in 2016 when FISO introduced laser shooting at obstacle course races in the United States, obstacle events in the 2019 South East Asia Games, and collaboration with Spartan Race on championships starting in 2017, including the 2022 Spartan World Championships in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Antonello Atzeni, Hannibal’s Crossing owner and chief developer, said, “We are excited to be working with World Obstacle on this initiative. We have been in discussion for several years, and it is wonderful to be formalizing this partnership.”

FISO President Ian Adamson added: “Hannibal’s Crossing did a world-class job delivering the 100m Sprint course at the OCR European Championships and the fourth UIPM New 5th Discipline Test Event in Italy last year. Athlete feedback was extremely positive on the quality and delivery of the events, and we are looking forward to another fantastic Hannibal’s Crossing course at the FISO OCR World Championships this September in Belgium.”
