360 Adventure Collective Names Asheville-Based Darby Communications for Public Relations

April 15, 2019

Agency will heighten visibility for the non-profit in new industries

Asheville, NC — April 15, 2019 — 360 Adventure Collective, the most-trusted association for independent and non-independent outdoor sales reps on the East Coast, has chosen Darby Communications as its public relations agency of record, effective immediately. Through the partnership, Darby Communications will work to amplify 360 Adventure Collective’s latest news and shows with key retailers, reps, and brands within the outdoor, fitness, active lifestyle, and winter sport industries.

In 2017, 360 Adventure Collective was born from the merger of two non-profits that were run by reps for reps in the outdoor and winter sports industries since 1979; outdoor-focused EORA (Eastern Outdoor Reps Association) and winter-focused NESR (New England Sports Reps). The Collective is instrumental in supporting sales reps up and down the East Coast with its smaller, more conveniently located expos that maximize connections between retailers and vendors. Members of the Collective are able to offer their customers more cost-efficient, localized opportunities where they can conveniently conduct more business with a highly personalized approach resulting in longer lasting relationships.

“The dust from the consolidation of EORA and NESR has finally settled, winter shows are behind us, and summer shows have not started yet, allowing us time to catch our breath and focus on new endeavors,” says Debbie Motz, Executive Director of 360 Adventure Collective. “Who better to help 360 Adventure Collective make those announcements than Darby Communications?”

Based in Asheville, North Carolina, Darby Communications has over two decades of experience with attending and facilitating events at trade shows. They were instrumental in helping launch the first Paddlesports Retailer Show in Madison, WI, and have always prioritized supporting small businesses, especially retailers.

“We’ve admired Debbie Motz and the work 360 Adventure Collective has done for years to care for reps and retailers on the eastern seaboard,” states Coral Darby. “It is an honor to assist them and the industries they serve through the dissemination of important news and trade show updates.”
