Thousand Launches Teen Helmet as Youth Cycling Becomes Fastest-Growing Demographic

Los Angeles (March 24, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ Thousand, the vintage-inspired helmet brand, today unveiled Thousand Next Youth Collection, a helmet for young kids and teens as they transition to their next phase of riding. Thousand’s expansion into the teen category comes on the heels of an exciting report from PeopleForBikes in which data showed youth ridership saw the biggest surge in participation of all age groups last year, with a 15% increase in ridership between the ages of 10-17.

Designed specifically for ages 11-16, the fourth helmet in the brand’s lineup is differentiated from its adult and child versions, featuring new color-blocked aesthetics and a reimagined, youthful brand logo. Next will come in three distinct two-toned colorways as well as an all-black version, each with a premium matte finish and a colorful nylon strap for comfort and durability. It will also include Thousand’s signature innovations and offerings:
