Oakland, CA – October 10, 2018 – BeAlive, a new digital video entertainment network for the mobile, social generation of outdoor adventure enthusiasts, has inked a partnership with top bass fishing influencer and 2017 Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year Brandon Palaniuk.
At 30, Brandon has accomplished more than most fisherman in a lifetime, with multiple top finishes on the Bassmaster Tour, almost $1M in career winnings, and more than 25 top sponsors such as Huk, Yamaha Outboards, Skeeter Boats, Alpha Angler, GoPro, and Go RVing. Though in addition to being a top bass angler, Brandon has a passion for being both in front of and behind the camera, having grown his own YouTube channel to more than 1.8M views.
“When I started my career as a professional angler, all I wanted to do was be competitive and make a positive impact on future generations, but in recent years, I’ve fallen in love with storytelling through visual media on my own social platforms,” said Brandon. “When I met the team from BeAlive and heard about their mission, I knew it was a perfect fit and a huge opportunity to craft the future of social storytelling around so many of the other passions I share with my fans such as travel, training, and cultural fun.”
Under the terms of the multi-year partnership, BeAlive will be developing and co-producing with Brandon original digital video programming and series based on topics ranging from fishing to adventure sports to outdoor lifestyle. In addition, Brandon will serve as a strategic advisor and brand ambassador for BeAlive’s fishing programming and series development strategy for its audience of 18-34-year-olds who share in Brandon’s passion for the outdoors.
