CamelBak® Launches Winter 2022 Snowsports Pack Collection

October 4, 2022

The fully redesigned Powderhound™ 12, SnoBlast™ 22 and Zoid™ blend resort-ready features with sleek styling to keep you hydrated on the slopes all day long

PETALUMA, Calif. (Oct. 4, 2022)/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – CamelBak®, the global leader in award-winning personal hydration products, unveils a fully redesigned line of snowsports packs that include the Powderhound™ 12, SnoBlast™ 22 and Zoid™, all designed for your next skiing or riding adventure at the resort. These winter-ready hydration packs combine technical features like weatherproof materials and an insulated hydration system, with resort-specific details, such as a lift access quick-release harness, insulated hose and secure stash pockets, so you can have your best day on the mountain.

“At CamelBak, our mission is to provide the best products to keep our customers hydrated, no matter the season or their chosen activity,” says Anthony Vontz, director of product management at CamelBak. “For winter 2022, we went back to the drawing board to make some of our best-selling snow packs even better. We utilized direct input from our athletes who spend most of their days at the resort, to refine and integrate useful features so they can stay on the slopes all day. This translates to our customers getting a hydration pack that helps them have their best days on the slopes.”

CamelBak athletes such as Olympic snowboarder Zoe Kalapos, who spends 100+ days a year on-snow, provided valuable insights and design directive to ensure that the packs tick all the boxes for the ultimate in-resort and on-mountain experience, and that all-important hydration stays top of mind. CamelBak’s latest collection of winter hydration packs are available in three ideal sizes for maximizing a day on the slopes.

For those looking for a capable pack in a streamlined package, the Powderhound 12 (MSRP $110) is a mid-sized hydration pack, designed for all-day lift laps at the resort. Features such as a quick release harness and side access zip pockets make for easy and safe chair lift rides, while the ability to carry a helmet, skis or snowboard allow for in-bounds boot pack laps to your favorite secret stash. To help keep you hydrated, CamelBak included a 2-liter Crux Reservoir which utilizes an insulated drinking hose enclosed in the shoulder harness to avoid freezing. Constructed of 450D TPU-coated nylon, with a C0 DWR treated interior, this pack is built to keep your gear dry and safe no matter the conditions.

When more space is needed to carry everything to maximize your day on the mountain, look no further than the SnowBlast 22 (MSRP $120). With 2-liters of water capacity in an insulated drinking system and 20-liters of cargo space easily accessed by a tri-zip design, this large day pack is perfect for families that shred together, or for those that want to ski or ride all day long. A quick release harness and easy access stash pocket located on the top of the pack make lift rides a breeze, while rigging points for your helmet and the ability to carry a board or skis make quick work of boot pack laps. Built with rugged 450D TPU-coated nylon and a C0 DWR treated interior, the SnoBlast 22 ensures your layers and other essentials stay dry, whether it’s a bluebird day or blizzard conditions.

If a minimalist option is all that’s required, the Zoid (MSRP $90) is a sleek, low-profile hydration pack that can be worn outside or beneath your jacket so you can stay out all day long without carrying too much bulk. Despite the slim build, the Zoid pack sports a 2-liter reservoir with an insulated drinking hose that tucks into the carry harness to keep water flowing throughout the day. If worn on the outside of your jacket, a quick release harness makes it easy to access your essentials on a chair lift ride, and the ability to carry a helmet makes short hikes more comfortable. Like the Powderhound 12 and SnoBlast 22, this pack is constructed with durable 450D TPU-coated nylon with C0 DWR treated internal pockets to keep your valuables and essentials safe and dry for a full day on the hill.

The new CamelBak SnoBlast 12, Powderhound 22 and Zoid hydration packs are available now, at authorized CamelBak resellers and at www.CamelBak.com.
