Climate Neutral Welcomes Melissa Leslie as new Head of Marketing

Leslie brings years of marketing and media experience to a rapidly growing Climate Neutral organization.

San Francisco, CA (Dec 16, 2020)Climate Neutral, an independent nonprofit paving the way towards a carbon neutral future, is pleased to welcome Melissa Leslie to the growing team. Leslie will occupy the newly created position of Head of Marketing and will assume responsibility for advancing Climate Neutral’s message with more brands and consumers.

Leslie, an industry veteran in digital communication and new media, brings years of B2C experience to the team from CPG, retail and automotive industries. Previously, Leslie worked for media groups Yahoo!, PopSugar, Bustle, and most recently as Director of Client Partnerships at Foursquare.

Leslie joins the Climate Neutral team after a year of remarkable growth for the organization. In 2020 Climate Neutral certified its first cohort of 150 brands collectively offsetting more than 200,000 tonnes of CO2. As the organization accelerates into 2021, participation continues to swell with more than 100 new companies committed to offsetting and reducing their carbon emissions.
