Coolcore’s launches new ThreadFlare thermal fabrics for cooler weather

July 11, 2018

PORTSMOUTH, NH – Coolcore (www.coolcore.com), the leader in chemical-free thermoregulating fabrics, introduces ThreadFlare™, its latest thermoregulating fabric designed to provide optimal comfort in colder weather.

“With ThreadFlare and our original Coolcore fabrics designed for warm weather, we now have a year-round offering of thermoregulating fabrics,” said David Ludd, Coolcore’s Vice President of Global Marketing.  “Our new fabrics for cooler temperatures offer the same moisture management performance as our other fabrics.  Staying dry is important no matter the temperature.”

Designed on the same premise and technology as Coolcore, ThreadFlare uses a proprietary cross section of yarns that wick and transport moisture away from the body, preventing body heat loss, and keeping users dry, warm and comfortable.

“The fabric does the work, so the body can conserve energy and maximize efficiency and performance,” added Ludd.

ThreadFlare will be offered in a variety of first and second layer weights designed for a wide range of activities, from winter running to lower intensity cold weather pursuits.

ThreadFlare fabrics are available now with brand partners introducing products featuring the fabric in Fall/Holiday 2018.

Numerous leading outdoor, fitness, and running brands have selected Coolcore for their thermoregulating technology as have major retail brands including Cabela’s, L.L.Bean, Disney, Athleta, Klim and Dickies.

In 2013, Coolcore became the first US Company to receive the “Innovative Technology” award from the Hohenstein Institute, and remains the only company globally to receive it for “Cooling Power”.

Independently tested by the Hohenstein Institute on its WATson test, which measures a fabric’s cooling and drying power, Coolcore’s fabric received the best scores against seven leading brands and three competing technologies.
