January 18, 2022

Ambassador application closes on January 30

HENDERSON, Nev. – Jan. 18, 2022EremTM is in search of inspiring, outdoor adventurers with an affinity for the desert to join its 2022 ambassador crew. Co-founded and led by a fourth-generation bootmaker from the family that started Timberland, Erem is the first outdoor brand designed from the ground up for desert performance.

“The desert is deeply personal to me. When I am surrounded by red rock, I feel connected to nature and to my calling to both explore and protect it. It is this love that inspired me to launch a brand dedicated to desert explorers,” said CEO and co-founder Noah Swartz. “We are looking for people who share this primal passion for the desert to join our team and help spread the word about our products and mission to positively impact people, place and planet.”

The brand will welcome 25 individuals to the crew this inaugural year. All the ambassadors will be tasked with raising Erem’s awareness in their communities through social media engagement and appearances at events. Interested applicants can apply online from now until Sunday, January 30. The tiered program offers both positions that receive compensation and ones that receive products and stipends.

Vice President of Marketing Jax Mustafa added, “We believe that experiencing the desert re-energizes how we journey in the world. We are looking for others to join Erem in our journey to build, inspire, and educate the desert community.”

The products are unlike any other in the industry. Erem’s sustainable hiking boots are Biocircular™, only using materials with 100% proven paths back to nature and can be re-streamed at the end of their useful life into new Erem products. Erem aims to further minimize its carbon and resource footprint by incentivizing customers to extend the life of their boots through the Erem Reboot repair program.

The Erem collection prioritizes breathability, durability, and protection to deliver the performance and comfort needed for adventurers, explorers, and seekers to fully immerse themselves in the desert. Available in two boot styles for men and women, the Xerocole™ ($169.99)and Xerocole™ Expedition ($199.99).. Xerocole collection uppers feature reverse, full-grain leather and brass hardware for durability, moisture-wicking, TENCEL™ lyocell canvas paneling and lining for breathability, and a contoured, shock-absorbing, cork insole for all-day comfort and long-term foot health. A gusseted tongue and padded collar keep out rocks and debris while a full length wood-fiber shank board provides torsional support and underfoot protection. The biodegradable, fully reusable, one-piece outsole is made of 70% recycled rubber, is stitched to the upper using welt-grade linen thread to avoid delamination and enable repairs, and features deep, 6-mm lugs for steady grip and traction.

Founded in 2021 by a father-and-son team of environmental footwear innovators, Erem is the first outdoor brand focused on desert performance. Launching with Biocircular™ desert hiking boots, Erem’s Xerocole collection uses only materials with 100% proven paths back to nature; the company also incentivizes customers to return products to be repaired or restreamed into new uses. Erem believes that performance gear made for enjoying the planet should not harm the planet, and so is on a mission to raise the sustainability standard for outdoor products. The name “Erem,” pronounced Eh-rem, is an acronym adapted from the ancient Greek word for desert that stands for Exceptional, Responsible, Enduring, and Motivated. This is the company’s product promise and brand philosophy. To learn more, visit eremlife.com.
