Fall 2017 additions broaden Gregory line with redesigned technical packs, new offerings in lifestyle

January 4, 2017

Gregory to introduce the next generation of Alpinisto, as well as timeless lifestyle packs built for everyday adventures.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (January 4, 2017) – Gregory’s heritage is rooted in durable, high-performing backpacks, starting with the company’s pioneering designs in 1977. Now, 40 years later, Gregory’s line has grown to include more than 100 packs for everything from backpacking to hiking, mountain biking to running, travel to lifestyle.

For Fall 2017, Gregory continues to grow its line with new offerings that show its depth in core mountain sports, as well as new designs for traveling and everyday life.

With thousands of expeditions under its belt, the Gregory Alpinisto graduates to a new level of alpine superiority with a complete redesign. Durability is increased with 630D high-density nylon, and the Fusion Flex Suspension System is lighter, more comfortable, and stable thanks to its 7001 aluminum perimeter frame and perforated frame sheet. Full-length zippers offer unrestricted access to the interior, and smarter design details include a new tool attachment for an ice ax of any size/design, compressible/oversized crampon pockets, and a wider more robust A-frame ski-carry system.

The Alpinisto comes in two capacities, 50 and 35 liters. MSRP for the 50L is $219, and the 35L is $199.

Adventures don’t just belong in the alpine. Every day can be an adventure when you have the right outlook on life. That’s where the new Baffin, Boone Overnight and J-Street come in. The Baffin combines a timeless outdoor design with modern-day function for the daily commuter. The water-resistant, 23 liter Baffin features an open-top design with a full-length center zipper for easy access to the main compartment. Every essential also has its own pocket, offering a home for water bottles, keys and sunglasses. The Boone Overnight allows you to dream big next weekend with 40 liters of possibility. Modern features include backpanel access so you can pack it and dump it, like a duffel bag, and a large bottom compartment that keeps your trail running shoes separate from your street clothes. The water-resistant J-Street is an urban commuting warrior. Pockets and sleeves for everything from your laptop to bike lock keep you organized, and the 600-denier polyester is ultra-durable and TPU treated for water resistance. MSRP: Baffin, $99.95; Boone Overnight, $179.95; J-Street, $119.95.
