Fifth Annual Ned Gravel Event Returns Bigger, Better Than Ever Before

Beloved Bike Race A Premiere Event for Peak to Peak Endurance Foundation

Boulder, Colo. (June 6, 2025) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – The Ned Gravel bike race and exposition will return to Nederland on July 12, and event organizers are planning a bigger and better activation than ever before to celebrate the acclaimed event’s fifth birthday.

Ned Gravel made its debut in 2021 and has since drawn an obsessive following among Colorado cyclists, all drawn to an equal mix of a festive community atmosphere and challenging courses that can tax even the most accomplished athletes. Ned Gravel will once again offer four courses with varying levels of difficulty this year, but each course will require riders to navigate a combination of technical sections and vertical climbs on both paved and dirt roads, all playing out somewhere between 8,000 to 10,300 feet.

Despite offering some of the area’s most taxing terrain for elite riders, Ned Gravel also welcomes riders of all experience levels. The event is rooted in the core values of inclusivity, diversity, fun, challenge, respect and safety, and each participant will experience the beauty and grit of the Peak to Peak area as well as the feverish community support from the town of Nederland.

By bringing in thousands of riders and fans for the event, Ned Gravel contributes significantly to the local economy in Nederland and helps support all of the local coffee shops and restaurants year round that cyclists enjoy in the summer.

Ned Gravel is also one the premiere events put on by the Peak to Peak Endurance Foundation, a volunteer-run organization which provides youth programming in the Greater Nederland Area. Registration fees for Ned Gravel help all kids get to participate in the Peak to Peak Endurance Foundation’s sports programs such as youth hockey, basketball, soccer and mountain biking, and this year Ned Gravel will mark roughly $50,000 in contributions to local organizations.
