Brand will donate two pairs of socks to those in need for every pair purchased online
CHATTANOOGA, TN (November 6, 2018)— FITS®, American manufacturers of the best-fitting socks on the market, announces the launch of their “Buy One, Give Two” campaign to support victims of the recent hurricanes that affected the Southeast.
For every purchase online, FITS will donate two pairs of socks to residents that have been impacted by Hurricanes Florence and Michael. The company plans to donate up to 8,000 pairs of socks to those in need.
“As a brand based in the Southeast with offices in Charleston, South Carolina and Chattanooga, Tennessee, the recent hurricane destruction really hit close to home for all of us at the company,” says Matt Alexander, FITS® Managing Partner. “One of our core values is serving others, so we felt this was definitely a time to help our neighbors, many who have lost all of their belongings.”
Hurricane Florence swept through North and South Carolina in September, causing severe damage primarily as a result of freshwater flooding. Hurricane Michael impacted Florida and Georgia and was the third-most intense Atlantic hurricane to make landfall in the United States in terms of pressure.
