July 25, 2022

The longtime pack leader redesigns its Zulu, Jade, Miko and Maya, overhauling the suspension system for an even more dynamic, comfortable carry on the trail

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (July 25, 2022)/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Gregory Mountain Products, the longtime leader in pack comfort and design, continues to elevate its collection of backpacking and hiking packs in spring 2023. Long-standing fan favorites – Zulu, Jade, Miko and Maya – see a complete redesign with significant updates to the suspension system for a more precise fit and comfortable carry. In addition, the brand is expanding its award-winning reservoir collection and adding two new styles to its Nano collection.

The Zulu and women’s Jade have been a longtime fan favorite in the ventilated backpacking and hiking category. Spring 2023, the packs receive a considerable update with a more supportive and comfortable suspension system, dynamic carry, improved torso adjustment and recycled materials. The new FreeFloat dynamic hipbelt moves with your body for energy-saving comfort on the trail and additional hipbelt padding offers a comfortable body-hugging fit. The suspended, open-air backpanel increases ventilation and offers a precise fit with 3.5 inches of adjustability. Using recycled materials and a data-driven life cycle analysis tool, Gregory was also able to reduce the carbon footprint of each new pack by 26% (Zulu 55). Four capacities range from the Zulu 30 & Jade 28 to Zulu 65 & Jade 63.

The Miko and women’s Maya are built for day hikes, quick escapes or National Park adventures. The new BioSync suspension system with elasticized shoulder harness and hipbelt provide body-hugging comfort and a dynamic carry. The easily adjustable backpanel has 3.5 inches of flexibility for a precise fit and the cool contour foam backpanel and shoulder harness promote airflow for added breathability. With four capacities, ranging from 15 to 30 liters, you can find the best size for any adventure. Both packs are also available in plus sizes, supporting Gregory’s commitment to inclusivity in the outdoors. Similar to the Zulu and Jade, Gregory was also able to reduce the carbon footprint of each new pack by 26% (Miko 20) by using recycled materials and its data-driven lifecycle analysis tool.

The new Nano Shoulder Bag and Nano Switch Sling are built for everyday adventures, travel and everything in between. Both bags provide secure, easy-to-access storage and a low-profile design. The cross-body shoulder strap on the Shoulder Bag is adjustable for a custom fit and the Switch Sling features a cross body design with padded shoulder strap. Both bags are 3.5 liters leaving plenty of room for your everyday essentials. In the reservoir category, the new Hydro 2L not only comes in at an approachable price point, but it has all the user-friendly features Gregory is known for. The easy fill handle connected to the cap helps hold the reservoir in place while filling it and the bottle-like screw cap is easy to open and close. The accent colors are fun and playful and the SpeedClip backpack connector, which is compatible with any pack, securely fits the reservoir into your pack.

The spring 2023 collection will be available to consumers February 2023. For more information about Gregory and its award winning collection of backpacks and travel gear, visit GregoryPacks.com.
