HitchFire Brand Launches with the Introduction of the Forge 15 Hitch-Mounted Grill

September 1, 2020

It’s not just a grill. It’s Adventure Grilling

September 1, 2020 (Santa Cruz, CA) – From the founders  of Tepui, the leader in roof top tents,  comes HitchFire Grills, creator of the world’s first purpose built hitch-mounted grill daring you to Grill Where No One Has Grilled Before. Made for all outdoor enthusiasts seeking to explore off the beaten path, HitchFire introduces the idea of Adventure Grilling™ with their new Forge 15 grill; making sure you can enjoy your favorite meal with friends and a view no matter where your trips take you.

HitchFire launches the category with the Forge 15 model, named for its double high-output 7,500 BTU propane burners. Designed to be attached to vehicles with a standard 2” receiver and built on an articulating swing arm, the grill makes cooking quicker and cleaner than using your old camp grill. The hitch-mounted design keeps the mess out of your vehicle and saves valuable trunk space so you can pack more of the gear you need. With two side tables and integrated bottle opener, the grill is the perfect partner after a long day out. Forget about using that crusty old charcoal campsite grill or juggling food and plates around a tiny backpacking grill.

“Over the last few months, we’ve put the Forge 15 through its paces, crossing thousands of miles of trail and highway on countless adventures,” said Evan Currid, HitchFire CEO and founder. “Our goal in launching HitchFire was to build the ultimate in Adventure Grilling, and introduce a new category in hitch-based accessories. We’re proud of the end result and are stoked to bring the Forge 15 to market and meet the surge in demand for vehicle-based adventure.”

The Forge 15  is the perfect addition for the overlander, camper, day-tripper and tailgater, but also the surf crew refueling between sessions or the downhill mountain bike warriors hanging in the parking lot after a full day of charging. Running off the ubiquitous 1lb propane cannisters, the Forge 15 is made of rugged powder-coat steel built on a stout tubular frame to withstand the abuses of the pavement and trail. The grill is designed to be used either on the hitch with the sturdy swing out arm, or removed and used for table top use. It’s easy to feed a family or groups of friends who can all be fed from the 355 square inches of grilling space – holding up to a whopping 14 burgers at a time.

Anyone who uses their vehicle to access the outdoors will find the new Forge 15 enhances the experience, making a good day unforgettable. HitchFire’s Forge 15 is available starting today for preorder through their website: HitchFire.com.
