SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Hot Chillys®, creators of the most well known base layers for over 30 years, is expanding on their highly popular line of Neoprene-free Chil-Block masks and Balaclavas. With one entirely new and three updated styles, these new masks provide ideal options for any cold weather activity.

Hot Chillys continues to disrupt the winter sport accessory market with new Chil-Block styles and prints, expanding their selection of masks ideal for skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, winter hiking, hunting and more. Thanks to their patented design technology, it’s easier than ever to find the perfect mask to keep you warm and comfortable, whatever you do outdoors.

“Extreme conditions call for extreme gear and our growing line of Chil-Block masks will help keep any outdoor enthusiast or professional warm and active in the most brutal winter conditions,” said Amy Callihan, brand marketing strategist. “These masks are a go-to choice for our dealers and by adding more styles and options, we hope to help them reach the broadest audience possible.”

All Chil-Block masks feature a padded, Flex Fit Nose Bridge to comfortably fit over the nose and cheekbones; Optimal Airflow Mesh for superior breathability and diffusion of incoming cold air; and the 3D Chil-Block Mask that creates a comfortable fit and microclimate of warmth around the face. The Chil-Block Mask fabric is windproof, waterproof / breathable, and features odor-blocking properties. All Chil-Block masks are Neoprene-free to increase comfort and reduce the potential for skin irritation.

The all-new Chil-Block Long ($30) mask covers the nose, mouth, chin and neck and is ideal for use with a helmet. Great for effectively sealing out cold air and wind to keep you warm and protected, this new mask will be offered in the black and grey digital “Sketchy” print, solid Black, Blaze Orange, and the RealTree® Xtra camo print.

The Chil-Block Half Mask ($26) collection is an abbreviated version of the Chil-Block long, covering the nose, mouth and chin and is ideal for use with additional neck protection. Currently available in Black, this collection will grow to include Blaze Orange, the black and grey digital “Sketchy” print and the RealTree Xtra camo print.

Next, the Chil-Block Full Mask w/ La Montaña Neck Warmer ($28) covers the face, neck and forehead, giving users extra protection and an easy way vent the top of the head when things warm up due to exertion. Offered in Black, the Full Mask w/ La Montaña Neck Warmer collection will add Blaze Orange as well as the black and grey digital “Sketchy” print and the RealTree Xtra camo print.

Finally, Hot Chillys offers the Half/Half Balaclava with the Chil-Block Mask ($30). Covering the face, neck and head, the Half/Half Balaclava uses MTF4000 fabric on the top to easily fit under a helmet and will now include the black and grey digital “Sketchy” print and the RealTree Xtra camo print.

All new and existing Chil-Block Masks will be on display for the outdoor industry at the annual Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show in Denver, Colo., January 25-28, 2018.
