Indyeva Unveils New FW2021 Apparel Collection

MONTREAL (September 9, 2021) Indyeva, an outdoor clothing company for women with a focus on sustainable design and manufacturing, today unveiled its apparel collection for Fall/Winter 2021. The new Fall/Winter21 outdoor clothing collection includes styles ranging from cozy sweaters to baselayers and down insulated parkas, is now available online and at specialty retail stores in the U.S. and Canada.

Season after season, Indyeva continues to increase the amount of recycled synthetic fibers, as well as natural and organic fibers used, with the goal of using 100% recycled synthetic fibers and natural or organic fibers by the year 2025. Indyeva is proud to be ahead of this goal with 42% of the raw materials made up of sustainable components in the FW21 collection:

  • Four materials are made up of recycled polyester certified GRS (Global Recycled Standard), two of them with REPREVE® technology
  • Three are natural and biological fibers or plant-based
  • 14 are certified Bluesign®
  • 13 are certified Oekotex®
  • All products insulated with down are RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certified and some with Recycled Polyester from Primaloft®

Indyeva’s new PECORA fleece sweater, part of the Sherpa Polartec® group and Indyeva’s FW21 Polartec® Sherpa Collection, won the 2020 Polartec Apex Award. Each year, Polartec awards this prize to brands that have adapted Polartec fabric technologies into inspiring products. The FW21 collection features pieces with features and technologies designed to keep you warm and comfortable such as THERMO BALANCE DRIRELEASE® that is moisture-wicking, fast-drying and minimizes odors, JERSEY DRIRELEASE®, a technical and eco-friendly performance fiber and THERMAL PRO POLARTEC®, an eco-friendly fabric made from recycled polyester that is fast-drying and warm.

FW21 HIGHLIGHTS

PECORA Sweater | MSRP $165

Winner of the 2020 Polartec Apex Award. The PECORA sweater keeps you warm when you’re headed out the door for a walk or just lounging around the house. Made from Polartec fleece sherpa fabric, the sweater is versatile and efficient – keeping you warm without compromising breathability. The PECORA also features zippered hand pockets and openings at the front and sides with snap buttons. Fabric composition: 100% polyester, 390G/M², Polartec® Thermal Pro® Shearling, Bluesign® fabric.

TOGA Sleeveless Tunic | MSRP $135

The TOGA sleeveless tunic is made from 77% recycled Polyester, Thermal Pro® Polartec, an eco-friendly fabric that is fast-drying, highly breathable and warm.  Featuring a funnel collar, improved hand pockets with zipper closure and easy to layer under or over your outerwear, the TOGA tunic is suitable for any kind of weather. Fabric composition: 100% polyester (77% Repreve Recycled Polyester), 319G/M², Polartec® Thermal Pro® Shearling, Bluesign® fabric.

MATKAILU HV II Pant | MSRP $100

The MATKAILU HV II pant is made of woven 2-way stretch fabric that offers mobility. The pants are quick-drying, feature a moisture-wicking finish and are wind resistant. The elastic waistband, rib knit inserts at the inseam and side waist make these pants extra comfortable. The pants feature practical hand pockets as well as back pockets with zipper closure, and a reflective logo. Fabric composition: 94% nylon, 6% spandex, 133G/M², Bluesign® Fabric.

PERNA Legging | MSRP $75

The PERNA legging is made from Drirelease® Lyocell, an eco-friendly technical performance fiber. The leggings offer comfort, softness, stretchability as well as moisture-management, odor control and quick-drying technology. Fabric composition: 82% Repreve Recycled Polyester®, 11% lyocell, 7% spandex, 230G/M2, Drirelease® Lyocell.

AYABA CB Jacket | MSRP $400

The AYABA CB jacket is made with a technical fabric with a velvety and soft touch of cotton. Its waterproof and breathable membrane keeps you dry from the elements and wicks moisture. The surface of the fabric is treated with a durable water repellent finish. Offering maximum warmth, the AYABA jacket collection is insulated with 700 fill power, RDS-certified 80% down and 20% feathers. These iconic designs will keep you warm and looking stylish even during the harshest of winters.

KAPA Long Down Vest | MSRP $200

The KAPA Long Down Vest is windproof, lightweight and warm, and can be layered over or under your basics. Insulated with RDS-certified down and made from a light, supple and silky taffeta fabric, this must-have vest has a water repellent membrane that keeps you warm and dry from the elements while allowing for moisture evaporation. Fabric composition: 100% Nylon, 47g/m², DWR 80/20, ciré finish (downproof & windproof), Bluesign® fabric. Insulation: White duck down, 80% down 20% feather, fill power of 700 in3/oz.
