Kitsbow Updates Face Mask with Double-Entry Filter Pocket Design

January 4, 2021

New safety update makes it easier to insert and remove the replaceable HEPA-type filter

Old Fort, N.C.(January 4, 2021)— In March, premium cycling apparel manufacturer Kitsbow was among the first to commercially-produce reusable fabric face masks, and one of the very few to offer a HEPA-type filter. Today, the company announces a new safety update to its award-winning Kitsbow Face Mask, Reusable, HEPA Type, which makes it far easier to insert and remove the replaceable HEPA-type filter. As we learn more about the COVID-19 virus, experts have made it clear that wearing a mask with a third filter is important for staying safe. This proven face mask now features a double entry pocket that allows for easier insertion and positioning of the filter medium, so that  the filter can be removed between washes.

“We learned that while our customers deeply appreciated the comfort of our Kitsbow Face Mask with removable HEPA filter, they wished for an easier way to insert the filter. We listened to feedback and made an important update that makes your Kitsbow face mask easier to use, and as a result, is much safer,” explained David Billstrom, Kitsbow CEO. “Now, thanks to the updated double-entry filter pocket design, it takes significantly less time to insert or replace the filter. About two seconds!”

Designed for all-day comfort, the Kitsbow Face Mask Reusable offers full coverage, an adjustable nose piece, and is available in three sizes to achieve a high-quality fit for each user. The company has shipped nearly 100,000 of these proven masks throughout the U.S.

This face mask comes with two replaceable HEPA-type filters. Replacement filter media for this face mask are available for purchase directly from Kitsbow.

Billstrom added, “The mask is hand-sewn in Old Fort, N.C. and the HEPA filter is manufactured nearby, making this a truly American product – important in times like these.”
