“We are honored to receive these prestigious awards from such top notch publications, says Jonathan Lantz, president of La Sportiva North America. We are a brand made up of backcountry skiers that are committed to bringing our technology and innovation to this category. The Vega and Skorpius CR boots are on fire in the marketplace and we are eager to unveil the next product for Winter 2021. All of these boots use bio-based materials and our newest offering continues that commitment.”

Designed for backcountry adventure, the Vega delivers lightweight touring features with powerful downhill performance. This is the ideal boot for long days in the mountains, side country excursions and multi-day hut trips when you need mobility, comfort, warmth, and support. MSRP for the Vega is $679.

A lightweight touring boot for general backcountry skiing, the Skorpius CR is also a great option for entry-level skimo racers. The carbon reinforced Pebax® Rnew® bio-based shell and cuff reduces the width and height, has exceptional resistance to low temperatures and has an ideal progressive flex. Three forward lean positions and a thermomoldable liner allow the user to customize the fit and feel. Compatibility with Tech, A.T. and TR2 bindings make them an excellent option for any backcountry ski. MSRP is $799.

Both the Skorpius and Vega are available at fine specialty retailers across the country and at www.sportiva.com.
