MSR Trail Series Snowshoes to Receive New Paraglide Bindings and Colorways for Fall 2022

January 25, 2022

New bindings offer simplicity, comfort and performance in MSR’s snowshoe series designed for recreationalists to use on flat trails and rolling hills.

Seattle, Wash. (January 25, 2022) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Mountain Safety Research (MSR) will be launching new, comfortable and easy to use bindings for Fall 2022 with the introduction of their Paraglide bindings on their Trail Series of snowshoes. The Trail Series is designed for recreationalists, interested in winter adventuring on rolling hills and flat trails.

These new bindings offer the perfect blend of comfort, ease and security for these Trail-level snowshoers. To start, their two roller buckles and toe stops make placing feet and securing and removing straps simple and intuitive. To hold the snowshoe in place, the buckles are combined with a pressure point-free stretch mesh, which hugs feet comfortably and is compatible with nearly any footwear. This is a similar mesh security system as you’ll find on MSR’s Lightning Ascent and Revo Ascent snowshoes with Paragon bindings, which were introduced in the Fall of 2019. As with all of MSR’s products, these are built in the USA and Ireland with high quality, performance materials to enhance user confidence.

“We are thrilled to introduce the Paraglide binding to the MSR family. It is the easiest-to-use binding we’ve ever produced and sure to provide a great experience for winter recreationalists,” said Scott Youmans, Product Line Manager – Stoves, Cookware, and Winter at MSR. “Following the success of the Paragon binding and it’s pressure-point free stretch mesh, it is a perfect choice for recreational snowshoers, and especially timely as we continue to see strong participation growth in this category.”
