National Park Trust Now Accepting Applications For Their College Ambassador Program

April 7, 2022

Washington, D.C. APRIL 7TH, 2022/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – After a successful pilot year, National Park Trust is pleased to announce the opening of the second year of its College Ambassador Program. This program provides college students with the resources to lead initiatives on their campuses that increase outdoor recreation participation and stewardship within their campus communities while increasing access and awareness of parks and outdoor places.

The National Park Trust is looking for pairs of college ambassadors at six schools to lead innovative initiatives on their college campuses. Each ambassador pair will be challenged to develop and implement a series of outdoor activities that engage their campus community in outdoor recreation through a local park outing, a stewardship event, a fishing-themed outing, and social media outreach.

The application for the 2022-2023 school year is now open and closes on May 9th, 2022. Click here to access the application. Contact Nick Weig, Programs Coordinator, at nick@parktrust.org for more information.
