Native Eyewear Releases Three New Styles in 2018 Sunglass Collection

February 2, 2018

LONGMONT, Colo. (February 2, 2018) — Native Eyewear’s second installment of sunglasses from its 2018 collection continues the company’s momentum of fusing function and fashion. The new Sixty-Six, El Jefe and Catamount styles are now available and complete the 2018 Native line along with two styles launched at the end of last year, the Wells and Acadia.

“At Native, we’re continuing to expand and evolve with new styles and lens offerings that embrace Native’s ‘Roam Free’ lifestyle and provide our customers with premium sunglasses you can take on any adventure,” said John Sanchez, General Manager at Native Eyewear. “With new and brighter colors and the latest in lens technology, these sunglasses elevate Native’s philosophy of pairing fashionable styles with top-of-the-line performance.”

New 2018 Styles Now Include:

Sixty-Six: As its name suggests, the rounded lens shape and stainless steel brow bar of the Sixty-Six draw from a decade revered for sports cars, music, and a counterculture that challenged the norm. Free-spirited lines and styling serve to elevate comfortable CushinolTM nose pads and a snug three point fit. Brunch on the patio, volleyball on the beach, or a quick 5K on the trail, this piece keeps your vision crisp and your style fresh.

El Jefe: Whether scouting your favorite surf breaks or jumping on singletrack for an impromptu ride, the El Jefe is ready for the moments when lines blur between life and style. Thoughtfully designed with matte/gloss finishes, metallic foil logos, triple bar hinges, and CushinolTM touch points; this piece is party up front and business in the details. Premium color-and contrast-enhancing optics cut through good times spoiling glare on the water or on the rocks.

Catamount: Inspired by the iconic mountain lion of the American West, the Catamount embodies a competitive spirit that won’t stop pushing the limits. The Catamount will climb, run, and leap to the finish line with its sleek design, interchangeable lenses, adjustable CushinolTM nose pads and co-injected temple tips. Feature packed, the Catamount ensures your vision is poised for the win.

New Lens and Colorways Now Available

Along with the new styles, Native has also expanded the availability of a new Violet Reflex Lens that deliver high contrast and crisp definition perfect for medium and bright light. The Violet Reflex is currently available in the company’s best-selling performance and active lifestyle frames including the El Jefe, Acadia, Sightcaster, Distiller, Hardtop Ultra XP and Ashdown styles.  as well as a new Desert Tan colorway available in the Ashdown, Sightcaster styles.

Lightweight Earth-Friendly Frames That You Can Take from Trail to Street

Native’s advanced frame technology provides a lightweight, durable, and comfortable solution that can withstand harsh conditions, including high-impact collisions and temperature extremes. Native frames feature several dynamic frame constructions including multi injection Trilaminate, and Rynotough using a castor-based resin that makes them more earth-friendly and stronger than petroleum-based alternatives. Additionally, the patented grip Cushinol™ keeps sunglasses in place during athletic activity and allows you to have stylish sunglasses that are high performance.

Recycled Packaging

Native Eyewear believes that quality gear shouldn’t come at the cost of our outdoor playground. In addition to bio-based frame resin, Native’s packaging has been thoughtfully created. The packing materials are made from materials like recycled shopping bags, plastic bottles, soy-based inks, and recycled cardboard.

Premier Lifetime Warranty

Accidents are bound to happen, and that’s why Native Eyewear offers a premier lifetime warranty. Whatever the reason (excluding loss or theft), sunglasses replacements are guaranteed for a $30 processing fee.
