June 19, 2017

New Baltoro and women’s Deva are called out among handful of products that set new standards for innovation and design in the outdoor industry.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (June 19, 2017) – The all-new Baltoro 65 from Gregory Mountain Products won a Gold OutDoor Award at the OutDoor Trade Show in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Out of 330 entries, the judges awarded nine Gold Awards for products that set new standards for innovation and design in the outdoor industry. The Awards were announced at the OutDoor Awards Ceremony on June 18, the first day of the four-day trade show.

Gregory’s flagship pack series, the men’s Baltoro and women’s Deva, get lighter, smarter and more comfortable in 2018. The upgraded Response A3 Suspension System, with Auto Angle Adjust (A3) hipbelts and shoulder harnesses, provide a custom fit. The 7001 aluminum frame cuts weight and increases load stabilization, and the Matrix Ventilated Backpanel provides greater breathability and airflow. New materials, such as the 210D Honeycomb Cryptorip Nylon used in the body, help reduce weight while adding to the durability of the pack.

For increased weather protection, the pack features a waterproof hipbelt pocket and custom-fit rain cover. The Sidewinder bottle holster provides easy access to hydration and can be tucked away when it’s not being used. The full body U-zip opening offers unrestricted access to the main compartment, and the easy-to-use removable daypack is ideal for day trips and summit bids.

Available spring 2018, the men’s Baltoro comes in three frame sizes and capacities: 65, 75 and 85 liters. The women’s Deva comes in three frame sizes and capacities: 60, 70 and 80 liters.
