No More Digging: RUX’s Duffel Box Opens Wide for Effortless Packing and Access

RUX’s structured, zipper-free duffel launches direct-to-consumer on March 16, 2026
Squamish, BC (March 16, 2026) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Following a successful crowdfunding cycle on Kickstarter, RUX, the Squamish, BC-based innovator of rugged, integrated outdoor gear systems and storage, is proud to announce the March 16th direct-to-consumer launch of the all-new RUX Duffel Box. Blending the flexibility of a duffel with the structure and open access of a box, RUX’s new Duffel Box redefines how adventurers pack, haul, and organize their gear.
Breaking from decades of convention, RUX has completely reimagined the classic duffle bag, eliminating zippers and providing unprecedented organizational access. The Duffle Box features a patent-pending segmented roll-top closure that snaps into a rectangular box-opening for easy access and gear organization. The Duffle Box is built with weather-resistant materials and a PFAS-free, durable water-repellent coating to withstand rugged conditions while keeping items dry and protected. Duffle Box is available in two distinct sizes and integrates seamlessly with RUX’s modular ecosystem of packing cubes, panels, and pockets for dialed organization. A “Plus” version is available in each size, which includes a removable, padded shoulder strap for an additional method of carry.
The RUX Duffel Box comes in two sizes:
● Duffel Box 55L ($225 // $250 for Plus)
Weekend warrior and carry-on champion.
● Duffel Box 75L ($270 // $295 for Plus)
Expedition-ready capacity for big hauls.
“Duffels haven’t evolved in decades—and we were tired of digging through gear caves,” said RUX Co-Founder and Head Designer Tony Richardson. “The Duffel Box opens wide and stands upright like a
cupboard, making it easy to see and grab your gear. It’s built to shape-shift for everything from carry-on travel to multi-day expeditions.”
Duffel Boxes can be purchased online starting March 16, 2026 via: http://www.rux.life. For more information or to request a media sample, please contact: Rob.Steffens@purpleorangepr.com.
