Oboz Footwear welcomes Rich Hohne as Director of Marketing

Bozeman, Mont., (December 12, 2019) — Oboz Footwear, the True to the Trail® outdoor footwear company headquartered in Bozeman, has hired Rich Hohne as its Director of Marketing.  Hohne joins Oboz from Simms Fishing Products.

“Rich has a deep understanding of passion driven, technical brands and his expertise will be instrumental as we move into our next phase of growth,” said Amy Beck, Oboz Footwear president.

Hohne spent over ten years at Simms, where he held various positions in the marketing department. Most recently he was the Senior Director, Marketing & Brand Management where he was responsible for the development and implementation of all marketing and brand strategies.

“Oboz is another one of those amazing Bozeman brands that conjures deep emotion from its user base,” said Hohne. “Oboz reminds me a lot of where Simms was years ago and I look forward to elevating the brand and the company to being the top leader in the footwear market.”

Hohne lives in Bozeman where when not in the office he’s off chasing powder or trout and enjoying its vast trail network with his dog Finny.
