Old Ranch Brands Clothing to Debut in Fall 2019

January 16, 2019

New clothing brand pays homage to classic style and simpler days

Reno, NV – January 16, 2019 – Old Ranch Brands is the latest in a long legacy of clothing brands from the Kirsch family, dating back to 1965, including the original brand, Sportif, as well as women’s and men’s sustainable brands Aventura and Ecōths, and knit brands, Icelandic Design, Newari and Wooly Bully which was acquired in 2017. Old Ranch Brands was designed with a simpler time in mind, a time of growing up on a ranch, exploring the forest around it, raising animals in the local 4-H chapter, and learning that the little things in life mean the most.

Focusing on a few classic, core styles representative of that outdoor life, Old Ranch Brands will include 100 percent cotton brushed flannel tops and bottoms, jacquard knits and cotton/spandex jersey knit tops. The Fall ’19 collection includes button up plaid flannel tops and flannel pants for women and men, classic long sleeve tees and turtlenecks, and cuddly soft jacquard knits for cool winter days.

“As we talked to our retailers this past year, we realized a lot of them were having a hard time finding classic, core styles that could replace the Woolrich business that had been vacated by their change in direction and abandonment of particular products,” states Tom Williamson, VP of Sales and Marketing for the Sportif family of brands. “With the debut of Old Ranch Brands, we are able to give retailers and consumers access to the high quality plaids and flannels at consumer-friendly prices that both they and their customers have relied on and loved for over 100 years.

Old Ranch Brands is being shown now for Fall ’19 delivery. If you are interested in learning more about the brand, please contact Angie Robinson at angie@darbycommunications.com or for order information reach out to whsl@sportif.com.

About Old Ranch Brands

Designed in the Sierra Nevadas, Old Ranch Brands is an homage to our childhood ranch home, where we grew up exploring the forest on our land, raising animals for our local 4-H chapter and learning that the little things in life often mean the most. Our father started our family company in 1965, and we’re still 100% family owned today. We work alongside our brothers, sister and extended family, including our employees that have become family to us.
