SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (December 6, 2016) — The Petzl REACTIK+ headlamp earned a prestigious Gear of the Year award from Runner’s World for its innovative design and intelligent smartphone application.
The headlamp debuts Petzl’s new smartphone application, MyPetzl Light. The app provides users with real-time battery life data, customize lighting profiles for specific activities and adjust brightness on the go. Morse code light signals provide added security in emergency situations.
The Bluetooth-enabled headlamp boasts 300 lumens and Petzl’s unique REACTIVE Lighting technology where a sensor automatically adjusts the beam’s brightness and width in direct correlation to the environment at hand.
The REACTIK+’s powerful, intuitive beam offers sustained brightness through the most strenuous of activities, while also aiding your everyday urban and trailside adventures with multi-beam and red lighting options. The micro-USB rechargeable lamp also hosts a two-part headband for optimal positioning during dynamic activities. It costs $109.95 and is available now at retail.
