Rumpl and Woosah Outfitters Release Limited Edition Blanket Collection

October 13, 2025

Protect Michigan’s Porcupine Mountains through Rae Lang’s exclusive artist division collection

Portland, Oreg. (October 12, 2025) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Rumpl, the category creator of the outdoor blanket, is partnering with Grand Rapids-based artist Rae Lang of Woosah Outfitters to launch a new Rumpl Artist Division (RAD) collection. This limited-edition collaboration raises funds to defend Michigan’s Northwestern Porcupine Mountains against proposed mining operations.

The Rumpl x Woosah collection features three products: Rumpl’s Original Puffy blanket, the all-new Fleece Puffy blanket and the Camp Pillow. Each product showcases Lang’s signature woodblock print style on a striking black backdrop. Inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of Michigan’s beloved “Porkies,” the intricate design highlights Lang’s renowned carving technique.

Rumpl launched its RAD program to provide artists with a new canvas to showcase their work. Through RAD, Rumpl collaborates with emerging creators across the US who share its passion for the outdoors, helping both the artists and Rumpl reach new audiences.

“Nature has always been my biggest inspiration,” said artist and Woosah founder Rae Lang. “This collaboration with Rumpl is more than just a fun graphic on cozy gear, it’s a way to give back and protect our Great Lakes and the Porcupine Mountains.”

“I’ve been a long-time fan of Rae and her work,” said Wylie Robinson, Rumpl founder and creative director. “Her art captures the feeling of being outside, and her passion for protecting the outdoors made this collaboration a no-brainer. Rae’s done incredible projects before, from a shoe collab with Chaco to trail maps for the North Country Trail, and we’re proud to bring her vision to life with this collection.”

This partnership was a natural fit as both Rumpl and Woosah are committed to conservation. A portion of proceeds from this RAD Collection will be donated to Protect The Porkies, a grassroots coalition of residents, Indigenous water protectors and advocates working to resist proposed mining operations that threaten Michigan’s wilderness. The Porcupine Mountains are home to a vast array of wildlife habitats. This space faces threats from the proposed Copperwood mining project. It’s Protect the Porkies’ mission to fight against this development and help safeguard the wilderness for generations to come. Nearly 500,000 signatures have been collected in Protect the Prokies’ online petition opposing the Copperwood Mine.

The limited-edition Rumpl x Woosah RAD collection will be available starting October 12, 2025, exclusively at Rumpl.com. Prices include $59.95 for the Camp Pillow, $99.95 for the Original Puffy blanket and $139.95 for the Fleece Puffy blanket.
