Sea to Summit Welcomes Key Members to the North American Sales Team

Boulder, CO (November 12, 2021) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Sea to Summit, the award-winning global adventure equipment brand headquartered in Western Australia, is excited to announce the addition of three key members to its North American sales team: Bill Chandler, Jaime Buyagawan, and Maggie Doran.

Outdoor industry veteran Bill Chandler joins the team as Director of Sales and will lead Sea to Summit’s North American wholesale business focusing on sales and distribution strategies to continue the strong momentum in US and Canadian markets.

“Bill brings 25 years of deep and relevant industry experience,” says Josh Simpson, North American General Manager. “I’m confident that he’s the right fit for Sea to Summit at this point in our journey, and I’m excited to have him as an ally as we strengthen our retailer partnerships and equip our team for exciting years ahead.”

Additionally, two new sales managers have joined the company to support Chandler and the growing sales team.

Jaime Buyagawan joins the team as Western Sr. Sales Manager, bringing 20 years of outdoor industry experience as a rep, sales manager, and merchant to the growing brand. Buyagawan will work closely with Chandler to serve Sea to Summit’s strategic partners, including REI, along with the company’s independent accounts in western territories.

Maggie Doran joins the team in the Boulder head office as Central Regional Sales Manager to manage sales primarily in the Southwest, South Central, and Rockies territories. Doran will also focus on the brand’s digital partnerships with online retailers such as Backcountry.com and Moosejaw.

“Maggie’s experience in the apparel and accessories industry brings a welcome and fresh viewpoint to the brand, and I know our customers and retail associates are going to love working with her,” says Chandler.

Over the past year, Sea to Summit has diligently worked to scale operations and product line expansions to support global growth goals. After a successful launch into the lightweight tent category and several operational expansions across Canada and North America, Sea to Summit is thrilled to welcome the new sales team members.
