iKOR’s Donation Supports Athletes Pushing Limits and Doing Good

Denver, Colo. (January 22, 2020) – iKOR Labs, Boulder-based producers of the worlds best recovery products, utilizing full spectrum hemp oil (aka CBD or cannabidiol) for endurance athletes, and local nonprofit Suffer Better, today announced iKOR’s contribution to the Suffer Better Do Good Grant program,  which supports endurance athletes carrying out innovative endurance projects with embedded philanthropic goals. The partnership is a natural fit for both organizations, with their like-minded commitments to the broad endurance community, and to improving local communities and the natural environment.

Suffer Better’s Do Good Grant Program provides endurance athletes – ultra runners, mountain bikers, triathletes, through-hikers, and more – with funding to support innovative projects that unite Suffer Better’s two foundational pillars: Giving your all and giving back. Do Good Grants enable an endurance athlete to carry out an interesting/unique endurance activity or project that includes a meaningful, and well-integrated philanthropy component that is aligned with Suffer Better’s mission. In addition to financial support, grant recipients receive products and equipment for their activity from Suffer Better’s industry partners.

Supporting the grants is a no-brainer for iKOR, says Jon Robichaud, iKOR’s VP of Marketing.  “We whole heartedly believe that we, as athletes, have an obligation to give back, and Suffer Better’s grant program gives us a meaningful way to help athletes do just that.  Our products let athletes and people push harder and recover faster, and supporting the grant program affords someone else the chance to Do Good.”

For Suffer Better’s Executive Director, Peter Downing, donations from companies like iKOR “mean athletes get to both test their mettle and give back.  Our mission is built on that premise – athletes giving their all and giving back – and quality partners like iKOR let us realize our mission in meaningful ways.  We cannot do this without them and we’re exceedingly proud to call them friends and partners.”

In addition to their generous financial contribution, iKOR will provide information and a selection of its CBD products to Suffer Better grant recipients.
