The Mountain debuts remarkable 2018 line at Surf Expo

January 22, 2018

Water-themed designs available on shirts, hats, mugs and more

KEENE, N.H. – The Mountain, long known as a global art lifestyle brand showcasing bold, artistic designs on unique mottled T-shirts, heads to the 2018 Surf Expo with a deeper and wider line of eye-popping products than ever before.

While T-shirts are still the bread-and-butter of The Mountain’s offerings, attendees at the Surf Expo (being held Jan. 25-27 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.) will see The Mountain’s iconic artwork now splashed on ceramic mugs, tote bags, trucker caps, phone cases, pet beds and blankets.

“We set our stake in the sand as a T-shirt company,” said Kenny Ballard, CEO of The Mountain. “With recent technological advances and consumer demand, we’re now able to put our distinctive art on something other than shirts. People have the ability to bring our art into their homes, camps, offices, RVs or dorm rooms while paying homage to nature, their favorite hobbies, their patriotism or their favorite breeds of cats and dogs. Oh, and wolves. Of course, we have wolves.”

Available in more than 200 distinct designs, The Mountain’s new line of 15-ounce ceramic coffee mugs have already been met with a great deal of enthusiasm in other consumer markets. Retailers can order low minimums and enjoy healthy margins on the mugs that retail for $14. The Mountain can also add custom logos to mugs, giving retailers the ability to sell the mugs as personalized marketing materials.

Surf shop owners should also be interested in The Mountain’s new tote bag offerings. The spun polyester totes, hand-sewn in America, are available in three sizes and more than 200 designs, with retail prices that range from $18-$24.

Also new this year are trucker caps, with The Mountain’s bold art adorning the foam front.

The Mountain will occupy booth 2568 at the Surf Expo, and will be awarding prizes throughout the show for qualified attendees.
