Therm-a-Rest Debuts Questar™ 0F/-18C Sleeping Bag for Cold-Weather Adventures

January 18, 2018

New 650-fill down, water-resistant bag offers supreme comfort and warmth for a good night sleep when the mercury drops.

SEATTLE, Wash. (January 18, 2018) — Seattle based Therm-a-Rest has been leading innovation and design in the camp comfort category for more than 45 years, because they know (from personal experience) that when you rest better, you play better. Spring 2018, the brand will introduce a zero-degree option to their award-winning line of Questar sleeping bags. The Questar 0F/-18C guarantees a better night out in frigid winter temperatures.

The new Questar 0 keeps things winter worthy with an array of high-performance Therm-a-Rest features. Zoned Insulation maximizes warmth and saves weight by intentionally placing fill where you need it most. SynergyLink™ Connectors seamlessly integrate your bag with your mattress, and the proprietary, heat reflecting ThermaCapture™ technology traps radiant body heat and retains warmth without adding bulk or weight to this packable, three-pound sleeping bag.

“We saw incredible results with our 2016 launch of the Questar 20. As a result, our reps and retailers quickly began nudging us to make a zero degree counterpart,” explains Therm-a-Rest senior marketing manager, Justus Hyatt. “It’s rewarding to create and innovate with help from customer feedback.”

The new, four-season sleeping bag takes cues from Therm-a-Rest’s award-winning Fast & Light® sleeping bag line and the successful, award-winning design of the existing Questar™ 20, offering a zero-degree, 650-fill Nikwax® Hydrophobic Down sleeping bag at an incredible value of $329.95.

Therm-a-Rest will debut the new Questar at the upcoming Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Denver, Colo., January 25-28. If you’re at the show, please stop by booth #44031-UL to check it out. The Questar 0 is scheduled to hit retail March 1, 2018.
