TreePod offers isolation tank at Summer Outdoor Retailer to combat ‘OR Syndrome’

Opportunity to win TreePod at Booth #1

BOULDER, Colorado – Outdoor Retailer Summer Market is intense. Kickstarter upstarts develop nervous twitches trying to pedal their wares to the right people. Buyers risk gout from all the wining and dining. Frantic media pace the floor looking for the next “thing” to boost their Alexa ranking. Marketers get tech neck from checking their phone so often, hoping their next appointment shows.

Scientists have dubbed this confluence of ailments, “OR Syndrome.”

“It’s tough to watch sometimes,” said Frankie Najera, marketing director at TreePod, who has attended four shows. “Everyone looks so strung out. If only they knew there was a solution.”

This year, to lessen the effects of this debilitating condition and help attendees cope with the show pressures, TreePod Hanging Treehouses is offering an “isolation tank” experience at booth #1. Participants will be deprived of precious networking time, disconnected from their phone and forced to float in a TreePod for up to 20 minutes.

To schedule an appointment, contact Alex Bunten at alex@palemorning.com.

“We designed the TreePod as a fun little portable treehouse for kids, but found adults often sneaking into them,” said Najera. “After the first use they reported better concentration, increased sense of peace and ability to cope with life. I know you might be thinking this is some ‘woo-woo’ treatment from Colorado. It’s not. It’s science. You’ll arrive back on the show floor rejuvenated and ready to take on any amount of beard cream and heady IPAs.”

Participants can leave their business card in the “isolation tank” for the chance to win their own TreePod. They may also opt-in to participate in further clinical trials.

“While complete isolation is encouraged to get the full new age benefit, the TreePod will hold two adults,” said Najera, “so bring your friends.”
