Vasque Launches #EverydayOutsiders Campaign to Support Change-Makers Committed to Outdoor Equity

June 1, 2021

Red Wing, MN – June 1st, 2021 – Vasque Footwear, a family-owned company with more than 55 years of experience in the outdoor footwear sector, is pleased to kick off a brand new, community engagement program forged to make a difference in outdoor recreation, and the ways we all get outside.

#EverdayOutsiders is an on-the-ground and digital initiative focused on breaking down barriers, increasing access, and creating an inclusive community. With long-term goals in mind, Vasque has made investments in four change-makers who are working within their own communities to increase equitable access to nature and the benefits of spending time outside.

“At Vasque, we want to meet people where they are,” said Kim Lyons, community management specialist at Vasque. “We decided to contribute where we thought we could make the most impact in communities that historically face barriers in experiencing the benefits of nature. We are investing in individuals making a difference and creating change within their own communities.”
