Wolverine Campground could get 50 more campsites, $5M in new investment

The county is considering a $5-million investment in its Wolverine Campground in Richfield Township, money that would be used to demolish and replace restroom and shower buildings and to develop 50 new campsites.

The county Board of Commissioners gave initial approval to awarding a construction contract for the job to Sorenson Gross Company on Wednesday, Sept. 28, and Parks and Recreation Director Barry June said work could begin next spring. mlive
