Travel/Adventure apparel brand offers sustainable, fashionable, durable collections based on inspirational locations
San Francisco, CA — The highly regarded men’s apparel brand ArchiTec, founded in part by notable designer Justin Seale, has hired Park City-based SIMBOL Communications as their public relations agency of record. ArchiTec is an adventure and travel-inspired men’s apparel company that began organically: Three great friends who love to explore and possess mutually beneficial talents were driven to create a brand deeply influenced by sense of place and getting outdoors.
Each season ArchiTec will launch a collection where the design and/or materials sourcing is inspired by a travel destination, such as Baja California. The current seasonal offering is The Baja Collection, which consists of four essential pieces that can carry any well-traveled man from the beach to the San Cristobal Hotel for a nice dinner and anywhere in between. The streamlined collection is a cornerstone of ArchiTec’s ethos: All of their collections will consist of perfected pieces and will be built to last through consumers’ adventures and the industry’s ever-changing trends.
With sustainability as another cornerstone, every ArchiTec piece is made in the USA from consciously sourced materials, and efforts are underway to localize sources whenever possible. But perhaps the most sustainable aspect with ArchiTec is quality over quantity: They create well designed, essential apparel, rather than superfluous products, and each piece is built to last through years of adventures
“When I travel, I have perfected the art of minimalist packing, which allows me to be more spontaneous,” explains Justin Seale, co-founder of ArchiTec. “Through my many years of experience designing menswear and traveling, I think we all want to stay comfortable, look sharp and be well put together and ideally be associated with companies that do the hard work of finding materials and factories that consider the planet and people.”
With its rapid growth over the last 15 months or so, SIMBOL Communications is being very picky with potential clients, and they see ArchiTec as a perfect fit. “There is a great deal of synergy between the two companies,” says Scott Boulbol, co-founder of SIMBOL. “We are all travel fanatics, but we are also deeply concerned with how that affects our world. Plus we have a penchant for a certain level of style! ArchiTec provides the ultimate essentials for an adventurous lifestyle and does so with extreme care for the world at large. We’re proud to be representing them and are very much looking forward to what we can do together.”
