EORA Announces New Southeast Regional Director

January 24, 2017

Asheville, NC — Eastern Outdoor Reps Association’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce Terry Wilson as the new Southeast Regional Director.

Terry comes to EORA with an extensive background in the active outdoor industry, with over 35 years of experience working in the retail and wholesale sectors, most recently completing a 15-year stint with Columbia Sportswear. During that 15-year period, he was an active member of EORA and served on the Board of Directors as VP in the Southeast Region. He not only understands the challenges of the Specialty Retailer, but the ever-changing business environment facing both sales reps and vendors. His formative years were spent pursuing outdoor activities that ranged from hiking, camping, backpacking and paddling to skiing and climbing, so it was only natural that after acquiring a degree in Business, he pursued a career in the outdoor industry.

Terry is excited to attend the upcoming EORA show, taking place February 6-8 in Greenville, SC. The show will feature over 575 product lines offered by 175 exhibitors, all in one large hall. Specialty retail buyers from all ten of the southeastern states are expected to attend, due to the diverse product range, from snowsports to paddlesports, and most everything in between.
