February 10, 2023

Respected Fishing Brand Goes Deeper in Bass

POULSBO, WA (February, 2023) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Grundéns, producer of the world’s leading fishing apparel and footwear, today announces its further expansion into bass fishing by signing four high-profile B.A.S.S anglers to its ambassador roster. Joey Cifuentes III, Logan Latuso, Micah Frazier, and Shane LeHew join an already stacked and diverse ambassador team. Grundéns will once again be present at this year’s Bassmaster Classic event and have these top-flight anglers as part of the team.

“Bassmaster is a stalwart in the bass fishing community, and it is only fitting for Grundéns to support some of the top anglers competing in the Elite Series,” said Ashley Williams, VP of Marketing at Grundéns. “This year is another big step for the brand as we continue to deepen our presence in bass fishing. Having some of the best anglers in the world competing in Grundéns footwear and apparel is validation of our authenticity in the bass space.”

Joey Cifuentes III, known for wearing his cowboy hat during weigh-ins, earned a spot on the Bassmaster Elite Series just last year with a second-place finish at the first Bassmaster Open stop of 2022. A former collegiate baseball pitcher, Joey cut his teeth fishing for snook in Florida before moving to Arkansas and starting his bass fishing career.

Another newcomer to the Bassmaster Elite Series, Logan Latuso is excited to fulfill a lifelong dream. The Louisiana native began his career in 2014 and twice has finished one spot away from securing a spot on the Elite Series. In 2023, Latuso will look to add to his $87,000+ career earnings during his rookie season.

An eight-year veteran of the Bassmaster Elite Series, Micah Frazier busted onto the pro fishing scene in 2005, winning the West Point BFL at the age of 16. In 2019, Frazier secured his first Elite Series win and has racked up nine top-10 finishes, winning more than $670,000 in his career.

With nine top-20 finishes since 2019, Shane LeHew has taken the Elite Series by storm. The North Carolina native is a former junior world bass finishing champion and, alongside his partner, finished second in the 2013 collegiate bass fishing championships. As a qualifier for the 2023 Bassmaster Classic, LeHew will look to add to his long list of accolades this March on the Tennessee River.
