New Roark Run Amok Collection: Season 3 Drop

September 1, 2021

Inspired by The Continental Divide Trail

LAGUNA BEACH, CA. — The third installment of Roark Run Amok officially drops September 1, inspired by the Continental Divide trail, with a fresh take on fleece, a new 7” Alta short, and updates to the trail running and training technical tees, shorts, windbreaker and hats born from adventure, somewhere between freedom and chaos.

New for Season 3, Roark introduces premium fleece to the Run Amok collection, with a fleece jogger and hoodie. The El Morro Fleece Pant ($85) offers a relaxed fit with a moderate taper in a soft viscose nylon stretch material with an external drawstring and reflective branding.

The El Morro Fleece Hoodie ($119) comes in a midweight flat face double sided fleece with a higher collar line and slimmer hood for a performance running fit, with interior front stash pockets.

The CDT ambles over 3000 miles of wilderness through the American West giving rise to a variety of conditions and climates that inspired the hand-drawn graphics and organic patterns adorning the line.

Additionally, the collection breathes Polartec Power Dry fabric technology into the Willow series of long sleeves and tees, as well as drirelease technology into the Mathis Series ($42-$55), all of which showcase hand drawn graphics for style forward performance.

The New 7 Inch Alta rounds out a trifecta of shorts to meet the needs of trail runners from the dirt to the gym and from trail to bar.

The Roark Run Amok collection is available now at select retailers, and will also live here.  Check out the IG handle here.

About Roark:

Roark’s 10-year journey around the world has earned its reputation as an adventure lifestyle brand that’s inspired by expeditions, cultures, people and places on the road less traveled. Our collections of Adventure Ready Goods are purpose-built with styling details fit to accommodate your needs from trail to bar.

Why did Roark launch Run Amok?

“There’s no better way to see and connect with the world around you than by running through it.” said Ryan Hitzel, Founder & CEO of Roark. “It was clear to me on a soggy run in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, that there was something Roark could add to the conversation. Our crew didn’t have gear or a brand that intrinsically spoke to us. We wanted our voice to be heard through products that reflected our needs as runners.”

Closing Quotes:

“Running is the opposite of all the consistent obligations I have in life. I’m going to a place where the path on the way is setting the tone. When I’m on the trail, I’m as free as a bird, it’s untethered for me. I run until I get to a place where I settle in, settle down, look in, look out. That’s the ‘ritual,’ the ritual is to look around and be grateful, that whatever is happening, is happening. And to not say ‘no’ to life, but to say ‘yes’ to it. It’s one of the sweetest parts for me, the wonder of what will happen if we are actually paying attention.”
