Norrøna Bolsters U.S. Sales Team with Key New Hire

BOULDER, Colo. (June 11, 2019) — Norrøna, the four-season Norwegian outdoor brand known for its sustainably built premium outerwear, announces the appointment of Emma Getsinger as the Sales Representative for the Rockies and Intermountain West.

“Adding Emma to our team is a crucial step in becoming great partners to our key Rockies and intermountain west retailers,” says Adam Chamberlain, USA Sales Manager. “She will help us bring our brand to life, share our values and product vision with retailers, their employees and ultimately outdoor athletes hungry for our unique combination of innovative designs, outdoor industry-leading sustainability practices and playful spirit.”

Getsinger, a passionate and ripping skier and runner, previously worked as part of the sales team at Teton Village Sports in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, one of the first U.S.-based Norrøna brick and mortar dealers. In her new role, Getsinger will be responsible for managing existing accounts and forming new retail relationships in the intermountain west throughout Colorado, Utah, Montana, Idaho and Wyoming.

“I have been selling Norrøna product for the past few years and have fallen in love with the brand’s products, design philosophy and environmental ethics,” says Getsinger. “I am excited to be a part of the Norrøna team, as we strive to grow our business and brand recognition throughout the U.S.”
