Cortez, CO – July 19, 2021Osprey, a leader in creating top-quality, high-performance innovative carry solutions, is launching a new category of IPX4-6 rated waterproof, non-submersible packs for Spring 2022. Arcane™ Waterproof is built to address the unique needs of active urban commuters while Transporter® Waterproof meets the technical demands of multisport outdoor enthusiasts.

“Built for people who rely on their bag rain or shine to keep contents protected, our new Arcane Waterproof  and Transporter Waterproof offer comfortable carry, simple organization, and reliable protection for whatever conditions come your way,” said Rosie Mansfield, Product Line Manager, Osprey.

The Arcane Waterproof series, available in 18L ($250) 25L ($280) volumes, is a sustainable, everyday solution with a stylish aesthetic that masks its technical prowess and waterproof protection. In keeping with Osprey’s commitment to sustainability, the main body fabrics are bluesign® approved, GRS-certified recycled with PFC/PFAS-free DWR. The larger volume, Arcane Waterproof 25, is equipped with a removable “work caddy” that fits most 16-inch laptops, with document sleeve, zip stretch mesh compartment and organizer.
