Osprey Packs Welcomes Scott Maslen As Senior Country Director, Vietnam

Cortez, CO – June 5, 2017 Osprey Packs, the global leader in exceptional, high-performing, innovative packs for outdoor, cycling, travel and urban adventures, announced today the hiring of Scott Maslen as Senior Country Director, Vietnam. Maslen will report directly to Chris Graham, Senior Vice President of Product, who is relocating to the United Kingdom.

Maslen will be based in Osprey’s Ho Chi Minh City Design and Development office located near Osprey’s factories. Maslen will be responsible for overseeing the development, production, and design operations of Osprey Packs in Vietnam. Prior to joining Osprey, Maslen served as the Director of Product Safety and Quality for Gerber Legendary Blades, Director of Vietnam Operations for Timberland as well Manager of Footwear Quality, Fit, Materials, and Innovation for Columbia Sportswear.

After more than 10 years residing and working in South East Asia, Chris Graham will be relocating back to the UK where he will continue to oversee all aspects of the product development and production calendar. Graham will also make strategic visits to Osprey’s Vietnam office to continue working with the Design, Industrialization, Sourcing, Production, and Environmental Studies Teams based in Ho Chi Minh City. Finally, Graham will continue to work closely with Mike Pfotenhauer, Osprey Founder and Director of Innovation to bring new technologies to market while ensuring a culture of continuous improvement is practiced and achieved through gains in technical design process, materials and construction techniques.
