PACKFIRE Expands Fire Pit Lineup with New Accessories and Clearburn™ Fuel System Launching Early June
May 29, 2026

New accessories lineup built to make camp life cleaner and easier to enjoy wherever the day ends.
Glastonbury, CT — May 2026 /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – PACKFIRE announces the upcoming launch of a new lineup of fire pit accessories and fuel products designed to make portable fires easier to manage, easier to transport, and easier to enjoy wherever the day ends. Launching in early June 2026, the expanded lineup includes the PACKFIRE Surface Guard™, SparkRanger™, WeatherShield™, WeatherGuard™, and new Clearburn™ fuel products.
Built for the beach, the tailgate, the float trip, the overland camp – places you couldn’t get your last fire pit to, the new accessories expand the PACKFIRE system into a more complete fire experience — one designed around portability.
“Expanding the PACKFIRE line up is all about adding to the kit that makes it a real camp,” said Jeff Polke, Founder.
The new accessory lineup includes products designed to protect surfaces, contain sparks, shield fire pits from weather, and simplify fire starting in places where conditions are not always perfect. Everything the fire pit needed.
Surface Guard™ Protective Mats
Set it down anywhere. The silicone mat protects any surface from heat transfer and ember drop — deck, picnic table, boat, tailgate, hardscape — and keeps PACKFIRE compliant on surfaces where direct ground contact isn’t allowed.
Available in two sizes:
- 24-inch Surface Guard™ for the PACKFIRE™ 17-inch Fire Pit
- 13-inch Surface Guard™ for the Ember™ 10-inch Fire Pit
Flexible, easy to clean, and built for repeated outdoor use, the Surface Guard™ helps protect the ground underneath, because leaving camp better than you found it matters.
SparkRanger™ Fire Pit Screen
Required in more places than you’d think. Keeps embers contained and keeps PACKFIRE legal in national forests, dry conditions, and anywhere open fires need a certified containment device. Built from durable stainless steel, the screen helps keep sparks contained through its swing hatch access system, so you can kick back with a little more peace of mind around camp.
Instead of removing the entire screen to add wood, users can simply swing open the hatch and keep the fire going. Designed for:
- Campsites
- RV and overland setups
- Shared outdoor spaces
- Dry environments where ember control matters
- Backyard fires with kids and pets nearby
WeatherShield™ Hard Cover & WeatherGuard™ Fabric Cover
Helps protect PACKFIRE between uses, PACKFIRE is also launching two protective cover solutions for the PACKFIRE™ 17-inch Fire Pit. Both cover the pit when it’s set up and staying put, not packed away.
The WeatherShield™ Hard Cover is constructed from durable stainless steel and helps shield the fire pit from the elements to make sure you have a dry ashpan ready for when you return to camp.
The WeatherGuard™ Fabric Cover uses UV- and water-resistant 300D fabric to provide lightweight protection during storage or outdoor exposure.
New Clearburn™ Fuel Products
PACKFIRE is also expanding its Clearburn™ fuel lineup, including:
- Clearburn™ Kindling
- Clearburn™ Firestarters
- Clearburn™ Firewood for the Ember 10-inch Fire Pit
Together, the new accessories and fuel lineup continue PACKFIRE’s mission of building portable fire systems that go where traditional fire pits cannot — from the dispersed campsite two hours off pavement to the beach you packed into before sunrise.
The new PACKFIRE accessories and Clearburn™ fuel products will be available beginning in early June through PACKFIRE.com and select retail partners.
