Peak Design, Mizu, and 1% For The Planet Present “The New Success” | OR DAY 2
August 1, 2016
Capitalism and conservation: thanks to a new wave businesses and orgs, these two forces are no longer at odds. Join Peak Design, Mizu, and 1% For The Planet as we delve into the nuts and bolts of being profitable and impactful at the same time.
We’re not just in it for the money, we’re here to fulfill a greater mission. As scores of new millennial-driven outdoor brands step into the limelight, a new definition of “success” is taking shape—a definition that includes not just the growth and health of a business, but also the external impact of that business on the community and environment surrounding it. In this panel, we discuss what “the new success” is, and share examples and anecdotes of how this shift is happening. You will leave this panel equipped with a greater awareness of the many different ways brands (particularly smaller, cash-strapped ones like us) can structure their company to positively affect their external impact. Join these brands (and many more that feel the same way) for a cold beer while we talk about saving the world.
