Reducing Toothpaste Waste: Matador Introduces Refillable Toothpaste Tubes
November 29, 2022
BOULDER, Colo. (Nov. 29 , 2022) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Matador Travel Equipment, the award-winning producer of high-performance travel equipment, recently introduced its new Refillable Toothpaste Tubes, TSA-approved toiletry accessories engineered to eliminate single-use travel-size toothpaste tubes. The dishwasher-safe kit comes with two clearly labeled sizes – a one-week tube and a two-week tube – to ensure users never have to worry about bringing too much or not enough toothpaste.
“Buying travel-sized toothpaste every time you go on trip can be a pain – it’s an extra visit to the store – and, even worse, it’s wasteful,” said Chris Clearman, founder and CEO of Matador. “Our Refillable Toothpaste Tubes offer a solution – the simple-yet-elegant design can be filled indefinitely, eliminating the need for single-use tubes for all future travel.”
Matador’s Refillable Toothpaste Tubes are built with a standard screw-cap opening on one end, along with a wide-mouth open end that allows for easy refilling. A removable sliding clip securely seals the refilling end to prevent leaks, and a three-layer ethylene vinyl alcohol polymer (EVOH) vapor barrier prevents contents from drying out. Both the one-week (22 mL) and the two-week (35 mL) sizes are TSA-approved, allowing for inclusion in carry-on bags and seamless security checks. The tubes are BPA-free and PVC-free and are food-safe (though they are only designed for toothpaste).
“We’re always evolving travel necessities in a pursuit to make each adventure more streamlined,” continued Clearman. “The Refillable Toothpaste Tubes are a product duo that will make you wonder how you ever traveled without them in the past.”
